After a rigorous season, the school’s indoor drumline group ended the season as North Texas Colorguard Association (NTCA) Open Class Silver Medalists. It was their first time competing in Open Class. The group performed their show, “La Dualité,” which centers around the duality of man and the fight between good and evil. They rehearsed the show every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and they had a performance almost every Saturday from the end of February to the beginning of April.  They also performed in three district showcases, one at each school, where all three drumlines performed for a crowd of community members. “This season has been different with COVID and everything but also with a new level of competitiveness,” junior cymbal player Madeline McNulty said. “This show has so many layers that takes a lot of time to work out and perfect. Especially with losing a week due to the snow, the entire drumline has worked so hard to get stuff done. We all have made a lot of sacrifices for this show, but it has been an amazing experience.”
