Kanye West Makes $30M Deal

     Renaissance man Kanye West has documented his rise to fame in the music industry for the past 21 years, and is selling the footage to Netflix for a deal of $30 million. It was reported by Billboard that West wants the film to be released in parts, in a docuseries fashionThe directors of this documentary are Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, who were also behind some of Kanye’s earlier videos“Jesus Walks” and “Through The Wire” from his debut album entitled “The College Dropout” in 2004. Coodie and Chike are reported to have been working by the ‘Life Of Pablo’ rapper’s side since the late 90’s when he was still just known as a producer for other people’s songs. He was producing for artists such as Jay-ZNasand Lil Kim at that timeIt’s reported that the project is set to debut sometime in 2022.
